1. Who we are
Rivvet is a trading name of Rivvet Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17362673, whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. We operate the website rivvet.co.uk and the Rivvet apps. You can contact us at trade@rivvet.co.uk.
2. What Rivvet is
Rivvet is a job management platform for residential building work: one shared record of a job — milestones, photo, video and voice evidence, approvals, quotes and invoices — kept between the tradesperson doing the work and the homeowner it's done for. Rivvet is the record keeper, not a party to the building contract: the agreement to do the work, and any payment for it, is between the trade and the homeowner directly.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your email address; keep access to that inbox secure, because it is how you prove who you are.
- The details you give us — including a trade's business and verification details — must be accurate and yours to give. We may decline or suspend accounts that fail verification or misuse the platform.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app. Records of jobs you were part of are retained for the other party and as the law requires, as described in our privacy policy.
4. The record and acceptable use
- Evidence you capture and content you post must be honest, yours to share, and related to the job it's attached to. Live captures carry a time and location stamp; do not attempt to falsify them.
- Both sides of a job can see the record the product builds — that visibility is the point of Rivvet.
- Don't use Rivvet to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass anyone. We can remove content or suspend accounts that do.
5. No warranties
Rivvet is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we make no guarantees about availability or fitness for a particular purpose, and the record is only as good as what's put into it. Rivvet does not certify the quality of any building work, and evidence on the platform is not a substitute for professional inspection where one is needed.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of Rivvet, including disputes between trades and homeowners about the work itself. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
